Still Waiting...
Erica alluded to the fact that she is annoyed that I haven't posted lately, so I thought I should give an update.
We are getting settled nicely down here it SoCal, and we are loving the church, our (extended) family, and the area very much. We miss everyone up in the Bay Area, and we hope we can see you all soon.
We've been rethinking the naming of our next child, so if you have a vote, let me know. We were going to name her Kassandra. What do you think? We're also thinking of Sophia Joy, Sophia Evelyn, or ???
Bekah was scheduled for a c-section yesterday, as the doctors thought that she'd be at risk for some complications, but after a second opinion, we were advised that going the good ol' fashioned way might actually be less risky. We'll let you know as soon as the baby arrives. Can't wait!

Would it matter to you that on the Social Security Admin's list of most popular 2006 baby names:
Sophia is #9?
Evelyn is #65?
Joy is #507?
Similar to Sophia is Athena, which I doubt we'd ever use ("Adina and...")
Evelyn has many relatives with which you could play:
Avaline, Aveline, Evaline, Evalyn, Evelina, Eveline, Evelyne, etc.
How about Claire?
from the Latin clarus: "bright, clear"?
or from Heroes: "Save the cheerleader, save the world"?
A consistently Top 100 Pick (#86 last year).
Says Adina, "Claire's nice."
It could also be Clara (Romance), Klara (Slavic), or even Chiara (Italian).
I'd prefer to tell her that it means "illustrious."
Didn't know you were a Heroes fan. What a great show.
Claire etc. would give you consecutive R's that could blend together in a hurry: "claiRichardson" ("dum Da-da-dum") vs. "claRaRichardson" ("Da-da Da-da-dum") Like it?
I like "dum Da-da-dum" personally. Very convenient.
Didn't you already get those Pottery Barn Kids towels with her name embroidered on them though?
It's too late. The name's been embroidered on a towel.
Exactly. I guess that some $15 towels have sealed the fate of my daughter's name for good...
You know what you should do is start a pattern:
Baby #1 - Karis Sophia
Baby #2 - Sophia Andrew
Baby #3 - Andrew - see, you'd have to have a boy next!
